Double Chocolate Nutella Cookies ❤️

Hey guys!

Hope your Tuesday is going great. So yesterday I had a massive and I mean MASSIVE Nutella craving … God have mercy.

I took to the net to find some kind of Nutella containing recipe and found one that looked perfect! It’s literally the easiest receive I’ve ever followed and the cookies turned out perfect first time round.

So for this recipe I used :

  1. 1 large egg
  2. 1 cup of plain flour
  3. 1 big jar of Nutella

First of all I set the oven to 180C.

I then lined two baking trays with grease proof paper.

Then I got a large bowl, I mixed one egg and the Nutella together. It can all get a bit sticky but just STICK with it, haha no pun intended.

I then added the flour and mixed it all together really well.

I then took one baby spoon of the ready mixture and placed it in my hand, I rolled this into a small ball and then flattened the mixture out.

Next I set this on the baking pan and added a small spoon of Nutella to the centre of the cookie.

I then repeated the step of rolling the mixture into a small ball and flattening out. I set this second cookie over the top of the drop of Nutella and cookie. This formed a double cookie with gooey centre.

Repeat these steps to make multiple cookies. This mixture should make 16-18 cookies.

Cook in the oven for 6 minutes.

And voila perfect double chocolate Nutella cookies with a gooey centre. Serve with ice cream while still hot for extra deliciousness. Yummy..

Let me know if any of you out there try this receive, I’d love to see pictures too. 🙂

New Years Resolutions

Whether you are a believer in the whole ‘new year, new you ‘ motto, each and every one of us want to improve on our selfs in some way or another during the year. I for one always want to improve myself. It may be in the form of a new skill, a new hairstyle or on myself personally but I’ll always try to achieve this goal. So with all that said my New Years resolution is to stay happy, healthy and grow in confidence. A mammoth task ahead ,especially the healthy bit! No more late night pizza..ahhhh.

A moment on the lips, a lifetime on those hips !!

I miss saturated fats and artificial sweeteners already.

……mmmm fish and chips…dreaming dreaming.

But in all seriousness goodbye shitty 2014 and hello brand new sparkly clean fresh slatted 2015! 2014 was the worst year I’ve ever had personally but I ended up opening up a brand new future for myself living with my new/real family and enjoying every minute of it. Like they always say you can choose your friends but not your family! I plan on accomplishing my goals through a number of ways. First of the healthy lifestyle, I’ve signed up to a nutrition plan and exercise regim with the body coach over at thebodycoach.co.uk #LeanIn2015 on Instagram. Check him out he’s amazing! Then the confidence will come from myself. I’ve started repeating confidence boosting statements to myself every morning. A favourite of mine is ‘believe and you will achieve’. I also repeatedly tell myself I’m a strong person when times get tough. As for the happy part of my resolution I plan on sticking to the goal of doing at least one thing each week that makes me truly happy and making the most of each day. Trying to see the happy things that occur each day.

Whether you believe in New Years resolutions or not, a new year opens up the possibility of looking to the future, embracing the positive and forgetting the past. Life’s what you make it. Let’s stop waiting for our life’s to happen, waiting for dreams to come true and holding on to the thoughts of ‘what if?’ . Life is in the now. The only way to creating a successful future is creating a successful you.

So come on 2015, come at me. This year I promise to make you an amazing one.

Cranberry & Smokey Brown Eye Makeup Look .

Hey Guys!

Over the week I went up to Dublin and bought some new makeup goodies, I had to get into Inglot and was in makeup HEAVEN! Inglot honestly has the most amazing pigments EVER.

So anyway this look is based all around my new BEAUTIFUL shades. Hey thuuuur!

For this look I used shades 341, 450 and 329.

Swatches of these beautiful shades !

I started of this look with shade no.341. I packed this shade onto my lid, starting at my lash line and heading up into my eyebrow. This is a perfect matte base colour and goes so so well with the cranberry colour (shade 450 as its rich in pinky pigments)! I packed this shade on using my sponge tip brush from my Rebel 66 makeup brushes.

Next I took my Sigma flat shader brush and drew a cut crease with the cranberry-450 shade. I then blended this upwards and out using my Sigma E40 fluffy brush. Making sure to BLEND BLEND BLEND.

I then took my Rebel 66 110 brush and applied the dark smokey brown shade-329 into my crease (my inner inner crease not my new crease created by my 450 shade!) and slightly above it, this created a lovely dark look with tons of depth and highlighted the lovely cranberry shade perfectly as a transition shade. I repeated this step three times as I wanted a lot of depth and warmth to the eye.

I then took my Sigma flat shader brush again and re-applied the cranberry shade to the top of the dark smokey-329 shade. Just enough to blend out from the eye, so as the cranberry wouldn’t loose its intensity.

Next I took my pencil shader brush from Sigma and I applied some of the 329 colour and the 450 shade to my lower lash line, blending these shades out and in towards the inner corner of the eye.

I then applied gel eye-liner,using ‘Fuschi’a-gel liner in ‘chocolate’ to my upper lash line  and finished with some mascara.’ (I find chocolate to be the most flattering shade on all eye colours as its not too much and it blends with any eye shadow beautifully! You also don’t come away looking like a complete Vampire ha).

Finally I took my highlight shade ‘Dust’ from my Naked 3 palette and applied it to the brow bone. This is a gorgeous highlighting shade, so flattering and draws attention directly to the eyes.

And voilà a lovely warm wintry eye look filled with colour, vibrancy and most importantly DEPTH.

Thank you Inglot for coming into my life with these AMAZING shades haha.
